Hello boys and girls!
Spring is finally arrived and it's time to put something new in our wardrobe. Follow me in this nice trip during which I'll show you the best stores in the world where to find clothes and accessories for your summer style. Let's start with the best vintage store in New York,
What Goes Around Comes Around, the premier destination for stars and trendsetters, where you can find a large collection of Chanel jewels, dresses, rock tees and denim. For your scarfs and belts shopping you have to take a look at
Paracelso in Soho. If you are completely crazy for fashion you have to visit
Iguana in LA, an amazing store become a hotspot for movie and television stylists.
Kitson, on Robertson Boulevard, with its 237 high end brands, such as Micheal Kors and Marc Jacobs among others, is a well known place for celebrity spotting..Paris and Nicky Hilton are the princesses of this place.
American Vintage, on Hollywood Boulevard, is the perfect place if you are looking for cowboy boots and biker jackets. In New York I usually spend my time at
Urban Outfitters, in the East Village, "always open, always awesome ", where you find a big choose of apartment items. If you visit Chicago you cannot miss
Night And Day Vintage, located on Belmont Avenue, a very nice place where you can find items from the 60s to the 90s;
Poor Little Rich Girl is named " best vintage for 2011 " by Boston magazine.
The reign of vintage is probably London. Here below I list my favourite shops but it's quite impossible to name them all cause you'll discover new boutiques everytime yuo go there. Anyway if you visit London you have to stop to
Topshop and
Liberty;
Harrods is perfect place for voguistas and fashionistas but it's a bit expensive..I love
Pop Boutique, in Convent Garden, that sells also its own brand of vintage style pieces and has a good selection of menswear, great for a quick party outfit or key piece to bring a slice of the past to your wardrobe.
One Of A Kind, on Portobello Road is the favourite boutique where Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are used to go.Just other two..
What The Butler Wore and
Beyonde Retro. In Paris don't miss
Didier Ludot (owner and shop name), closed to the Louvre, specialised in vintage from French designers such as Chanel, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Balmain, YSL, Lanvin and Hermes (to name a few). Below all the photos and addresses!
